The Garden Route, also known as Route 62 is on the Western coast of South Africa, where ancient forests, rivers, wetlands, dunes, beaches, lakes, mountain scenery and fynbos all merge to form a landscape of beauty.
The paradise stretches along approximately 210 km of coastline with its starting point including towns like Riversdale, Stillbaai, Albertinia and ending on the eastern side with Storms River and Tsitsikamma. Other towns that form part of the Garden Route are Mossel Bay, George, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
There are more than 6500 indigenous plant species and nearly 300 different bird species and wildlife on the route that offer the visitor a memory of a lifetime.
